David Thibault, P.E.
Principal Engineer
David is responsible for the design and construction management duties associated with roadway and highway construction. Additional responsibilities include water, sewer, and irrigation infra-structure designs and installations. He has experience in the structural design of numerous commercial, industrial, and residential buildings, geotechnical investigations, and construction management projects. Mr. Thibault is qualified as a bridge inspection team leader and has completed safety inspections for hundreds of in-service bridges for the State of Idaho. He has more than a decade of active involvement with land development and the construction industry.
As a partner of EHM Engineers, Inc., David manages the technical staff and office personnel in addition to the professional engineering services for many private and public clients with total fees of approximately 4 million dollars annually.

Brian Martens, P.E.
Principal Engineer
Brian has been employed with EHM Engineers, Inc. since 1995. Brian directs the structural design department for the Twin Falls Office as well as performing foundation, building, bridge and roadway designs. Brian’s prior experience includes five years as a cost and scheduling engineer for Idaho Power on two multi-million dollar hydroelectric projects.

Kahler Nield, P.E.
Project Engineer
Kahler joined EHM Engineers, Inc. in May 2014 after graduating from Brigham Young University with an emphasis in structural engineering. Kahler's primary responsibilities include structural design and development of residential, commercial, and industrial buildings. He has experience in timber, steel, concrete and masonry structures. He has 10 years of experience in the construction industry.

Matt Ahrens, P.E.
Civil Engineer
Matt has been employed with EHM since 2020. His responsibilities include the design of water and wastewater systems. Matt completes field inspections and certifications of water, sewer, and gravity and pressurized irrigation systems for ongoing construction projects. He has worked in conjunction with Idaho Department of Environmental Quality and is familiar with their standards and South Central Public Health Department requirements.

Ben specializes in the critical bridge between design and construction. He oversees the permitting process with public entities and manages the complexities of project bids and contracts.
