Gerald Martens, PE LS

 

Gerald is responsible for the design and construction of all highway, bridge, airport, sewer, water, and irrigation projects. Design of numerous federally funded highway, bridge, sewer, and water projects within the past several years and has provided extensive experience in design of projects to meet federal requirements for project development, design, and construction. Previous experience includes five years with the Idaho Transportation Department, Division of Highways. This experience included design and construction of various highway projects with experience in all phases of project development. Responsible for all structural designs associated with buildings, foundation, dams, bridges, and many other specialty structures.

 

As a principal partner in EHM Engineers, Inc., Gerald supervises a staff of 22-28 technical and office personnel providing professional engineering and land surveying services for various private and public clients with total fees of approximately two million dollars annually.

 

Gerald has held a certified water right examiner (License No. 99-101) in the State of Idaho and is a State water right surveyor (License No. 888) in the State of Nevada.

Gary R. Burkett, PE LS

 

Gary has been employed by EHM Engineers since 1989, heading the environmental and sewer and water department.  Gary has nine years experience as an Environmental Engineer with the State of Idaho, Division of Environmental Quality. With the State of Idaho, Gary's included assignment was "on-site" coordinator for hazardous material spills, project officer for the Twin Falls Field office IDHW-DEQ for soil and groundwater contamination clean-ups, project officer for the State of Idaho in overseeing the USEPA Municipal Facilities Construction Program, and administration projects, involving over 10 million dollars in costs, for engineering and construction services.  Gary conducted engineering and site reviews for 72 public water systems in an eight county region of Southern Idaho for the IDHW-DEQ.

Brian Martens, PE

 

Brian has been employed by EHM Engineers, Inc., since August, 1995. He has been responsible for various Federal Aid funded roadway and bridge projects. Other projects have included various foundation and building designs, site plans and subdivisions. Prior experience included five years with Idaho Power Company where he held the position of cost scheduling engineer for Idaho Power's on site construction management team for two multimillion-dollar heavy industrial hydrological construction projects. Responsibilities included review and approval of contractor unit price pay requests, extra work proposal s and claim review and negotiation. Other responsibilities included approval and day to day monitoring of the contractors construction schedule and resolution of on site design conflicts and changes.

Roger A. Kruger, PLS     

 

Roger has been employed by EHM Engineers, Inc., since November 1974, and is responsible for the supervision and coordination of all land surveying operations for EHM Engineers, Inc. His responsibilities include boundary, topographic, utility, and construction surveys. He is responsible for all Right-of-Way development and is a Qualified Right-of-Way agent for federally funded Highway Projects.

 


Roger has recorded over 200 subdivision plats and over 900 Record of Survey Plats in 2 states and 15 counties. He has developed the Right-of-Way documents for over 35 Federal Aid Highway Projects. Other duties include attending public hearings for annexation, rezone, special use and subdivision development.

 

 
Roger is past president of the Magic Valley Chapter of the Idaho Association of Land Surveyors and past secretary of the Idaho Association of Land Surveyors.
